In just two years...
In just two years Bershka opened a hundred stores and had firmly consolidated its brand image.Today, ten years on, the chain has more than 600 stores in 42 countries, with sales of over 1.1billion euros, representing 10% of the total revenues of the group.
Bershka has a combined sales area of over 200.000 square meters. The company’s business encompasses: design, manufacturing, distribution and fashion sales in its stores.
Bershka's team of designers, made up of more than 50 professionals are continuously assessing customer preferences, wishes and demands, each year offering some 4,000 different products for sale in its stores.

Stores, windows & interiors
The interior design of the stores is conceived to give maximum prominence to the fashion display. The layout, music, lighting, furniture, wall-prints and materials used are carefully conceived to offer the greatest freedom to the customers while they discover the latest trends in fashion. All the elements featured in the stores are designed by Bershka’s decoration teams. Some of these change every season to match the collection; wall-prints, decoration, style of music...
Bershka stores are designed as comfortable spaces that will appeal to young people, thereby turning shopping into a fun experience. Whilst they browse around the shop, selecting and trying on the clothes, they can also listen to the hottest sounds and check out the latest trends in urban art with the graphics and photo sessions featured in the store décor.
The unique Bershka windows, designed by a specialized team, are a powerful communication tool through which Bershka presents to the public the most important pieces of the collection. The shop window is renewed frequently during the season, and products on display are constantly adapted to the fashion within the store, reflecting the evolution of the trends throughout each season.

Within our stores there are differentiated spaces devoted to each of the product lines on offer for our costumers. In each department, Bershka, BSK & Man the products are placed together according to their style, creating a wide spectrum that ranges from sports to casualwear, from basic pieces to those with a stronger fashion component.
The area dedicated to women’s wear is the most important within Bershka and houses two main lines:
- BSK, which is the collection for our youngest costumers, always keeping an eye on their specific tastes and needs, a casual collection focused on their interest, idols, music stars etc.
- Bershka is dedicated to the most fashionable. With a wide range of jeans designed to suit their tastes, night wear, casual trends and the latest flourishes for the most demanding.
The men’s wear in Bershka offers more than just jeans for guys, always in line with the latest trends, but also more casual and basic pieces.
Apart from a wide range of clothing, all lines include a large selection of accessories and shoes…

Bershka in abroad
Bershka stores throughout the world are always defined by their prime location, a carefully considered architectural approach and interiors designed to boost the collection for the most fashion-aware customers.
Bershka selects the best commercial sites in each city, always located in the most outstanding areas of the main shopping districts. Unique buildings are often chosen and the Bershka architectural studio works on their refurbishment and adaptation.

Bershka arrives in Asia!
From the beginning of its internationalization, Inditex's various commercial concepts have expanded into European markets, where its 3,600 stores represents 80% of group revenue. Similarly, the company has taken the opportunity to grow in other geographical areas, specifically in regard to those with the highest growth potential for retail fashion. At present, the Asia-Pacific area is experiencing the greatest increase in sales across the group.
Inditex has been present in the Asia-Pacific area since 1998, when the first Zara store was launched in Shibuya, one of the largest shopping areas in Tokyo. Subsequently, Inditex worked hard to consolidate its place in the Japanese market. While increasing it's presence the group gained a great deal of experience in this very competitive market.
In May of 2004, the first Zara store was launched in Hong-Kong and the first opening of the brand in Mainland China took place in February 2006. Massimo Dutti started its commercial activity in the country in 2007, meanwhile Bershka and Pull and Bear have entered this year. Nowadays, the Group has stores in Beijing, Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzen, Harbin, Dalian, Tianjin, Nanjing y Hangzhou.
The Inditex Group operates at present a combined total of 128 stores in Asia-Pacific located in: China, South Korea, The Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and Singapore.
In April 2009 Bershka opened its first store in China, Solana Shopping Mall in Beijing. From then we are opening Dalian, Shanghai, Hong-Kong, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shenyang through this year.
